Despite this fact the tenth pipe is now in plaee - which means that there is 360! of pipe laid out of a total of 1600' feet. When the weather is too stormy to work on the pipeline the derrick is busy improving its harbour facilities on the west end of the bay. There are now two divers at work, Fred Baader and Leo Daoust. Its remarkable how they can stay under for four or five hours at a stretch in water that is at a temperature of about 50°. Try a dip into the lake and you'll be out before ae one says "Jack Robinson" - almost. In a week or so an additional derrick and tug called "Atomic" are coming to help out on the job. If the tug lives up to its name we should have the job finished before long.
