'Pete' Wishard at the Terrace Bay Hospital last Sunday morning, June 7th. Pete had been a valued member of the LongLac Warehouse Office Staff for almost eleven months and he will be sadly missed by his associates and the many others at Terrace Bay who knew him, To all relatives and friends, we extend our deepest sympathy. -o0o- A NOTE OF APPRECIATION FROM CATHERINE McKEEN, R.N, "The Hospital Staff is very grateful to the ladies in the Townsite for their help in making supplies, such as sewing operating-room linen, folding dressings, etc. We hope you will keep up. the good work because it seems we can never reach the point where we have too much on hand. "Anyone willing to help can be supplied with materials by Preteen Mrs. McCausland in the Townsite or Catherine McKeen at the Hospital." P.S. "The magazines are rolling in nicely to the Hospital and the patients appreciate them. Keep them coming! We will send them along to the Bunkhouses when they have served their purpose here." -o0o- ATTENTION: TERRACE BAY PARENTS aoe ee tne ere ca ne ee ee en ND Ca RN a A a You have probably been following the current debate about whether having children is hered- itary. Some say yes, others say no. However, there is one point about which there is almost universal agreement; namely, that people do have children. There is nothing the matter with this, except that once they have them, they can't go out as often as they would like. How often have you wished that some baby-sitting servi¢e would come along to liberate you so that you can go to that gay party! Well, your dream has finally come true. It's here! A real, genuine baby-sitting service, consisting of two clean-shaven students from University of Toronto -- John T. Corbett and Chester J. Sarich. Why go to a bridge party with that worry hanging over your head (the gnawing fear that Junior, left to his own devices, will manage to break his little skull), when for a reasonable rate a baby-sitter, expert in child psychology, will appear in your doorway with that paternal look in his eye. To contact this benevolent organization, just put a note in an envelope, address it to J. T. Corbett, and leave it at the Post Office. The baby- sitters would appreciate as much notice as pousible -- at the very latest, 6:00 p.m. of the day the service is required. ation DOMINION CATERING NEWS All boarders who are leaving Camp for three consecutive meals or more, must check out at the Catering Office before leaving Camp; otherwise, no credit will be allowed. -o00- Kilroy was here and the highlights of his short career linger on! The most amusing story we have come across is the one about Kilroy visiting 'Number 10', where he was given the freedom of the Bunkhouse. Climbing up onto one of the slumbering cook's beds, he playfully proceeded to
