Jackson, Andrew Brian (Died)

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearly beloved son, Andrew Brian Jackson, on Friday March 18, 2022, at the age of 36. He left us peacefully in his sleep. Heaven has gained another angel. Andrew had a heart of gold -he loved his family and friends enormously! He was passionate about his country and proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 12 years, fighting in the Afghanistan war in 2009. Andrew was courageous, had a terrific sense of humour and a beaming smile from ear to ear. Although Andrew was left with some challenges related to serving in the military, he continued to fight for what he believed in. He was an awesome son to Brian (Joyce) Jackson, late Linda (nee Rafuse) Jackson (1989), grandson to Jean Jackson, loving brother to Valerie, Christopher, and Mark, adored by his 3 beautiful children -Gabriel, Sophia, and Luke. He will sadly be missed by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Andrew also leaves behind his loving partner, Naomi Clark, and her son Elliott. Many friends are left to mourn his passing. Rest in peace, Andrew. You are dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure to know you. Friends are invited to join the family at St. David's United Church, 190 Springbank Ave., Woodstock on Friday April 8, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8pm, where the memorial service will be held in the Sanctuary on Saturday at 1:30 pm. Cremation has taken place. Attendees to the visitation and/or service are required by church policies to wear a face mask during their visit. Proof of vaccination may be asked as well.
