The chimes of Christmastime will resonate in Waterloo Park this season as an angel gets its wings and tiptap stations are in- troduced to spur financial dona- tions. "Clarence Odbody" is one of several new displays that's been added to the Wonders of Winter festival of lights. Other recent ad- ditions include a bricklayer, dancing ballerinas with twinkly skirts and an ambulance to ho- nour local paramedics. The festival was to officially plug in for its 28th year on Satur- day Nov. 27 and is open to the pub- lic every evening, from 5 to 10:30 p.m., until Jan. 1. "What happens is people come up with ideas and we build them," said longtime volunteer Dave Hollinger, a main driving force behind the annual attraction that has grown to include 130 displays.
