The President's Award recognizes electricity service providers that have achieved the top ranking in total recordable injury frequency (TRIF) amongst their peers of comparable size in generation, transmission or distribution operations. "At Oakville Hydro, safety is our top priority. Receiving the President's Award from the CEA is further proof that our employees demonstrate a very real commitment to safety each and every day," said Scott Mudie, Chief Operating Officer, Oakville Hydro. Oakville Hydro's award is under the occupational health and safety President's Awards distribution group III (under 300 employees). The CEA's President's Award of Excellence is Oakville Hydro's latest health and safety accolade, previously having been awarded four President's Awards by the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association, as well as the inaugural David Ellis Award from MySafeWork.
