He is the cherished husband of 49 years to Carol (née Hone), caring father to Emily (Umang) and Tim (Leigh), fun loving Grandpa Glenn to Finley, Gillon, River and Arran. He is predeceased by his brother Dave and parents Ruth and Jim. He is adored by his siblings Nancy, Doug and Perry as well his cousins, in- laws, nieces, nephews, and friends both old and new. Glenn makes his mark with a brilliant mix of satire and dry wit often weaved together through gifted storytelling. He shared laughs with many and in recent years nothing brought him greater joy than laughing with his grandchildren. He enjoyed music, history, books, trains, crossword puzzles, Jeopardy, Di-Di, and the news with 3 newspapers delivered daily. He was raised in Ridgetown, studied at Western, was a respected insolvency lawyer who practiced for ~40 years. He enjoyed the challenge of the law and sometimes referred to himself as a professional secret keeper and excuse maker. At his core, he was a musician who played the piano, organ, and sang in choirs. We trust his memory will live on in our music, stories, smiles, laughter, and fun. His life was well lived. Rest in God's Peace. A Service of Remembrance to be held at St. Jude's Anglican Church in Oakville once restrictions are lifted. Those who wish may make donations to Youth Mental Health, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cancer Research, Greenpeace. Dear sister to Alfreda Danilko and Laura Krzywosz (who preceded her in death). Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Wanda loved tending to her garden, opening up her home to family and friends and will always be remembered for the wonderful food she put on her table. Wanda was an active member of the Women's Polish Auxiliary for many years assisting at the church for after mass coffee and treats, dances and various Polish functions. (Vanderjagt) January 14, 1945 - December 20, 2021 ------------------ With reluctance, on December 20th Celia passed away with her beloved family by her side. She leaves behind her lifelong partner, David Humphrey, and children Monique (Marc) and Michael Vanderjagt. Her grandchildren, Sydney (Josh), Jonathan and Jay Michael will miss her every minute of every day. Lovingly remembered by Mark (Kris) and Todd Humphrey and their children, Blake, Tyler, Claire and Evan. Dearly missed by her extensive list of family and friends; including sisters Angela and Julie and special cousin David Roberts. Born in Liverpool, England to parents Robert and Alma Roberts. Celia moved to Canada at the young age of 8 but carried her English roots with her throughout her life. To describe such an incredible woman seems near impossible; but here is what we know to be true. Celia loved her family fiercely; especially her grandchildren. She had a passion for all sports and loved "game day". She ran her own successful interior design business and was passionate about her horticultural world. It is with certainty that heaven's gardens are now being well attended to. Finally, she was intelligent, beautiful and would give her opinion even if you did not necessarily ask for it. She was a kind and warm person who showed her love deeply and longed for it to be returned. Cremation has taken place. Celia's life will be celebrated in the spring, her favourite time of year. In lieu of flowers, please donate blood, then have a tea and spend some time in a garden. William L.
