The man has been charged with trafficking in persons, adult procuring, sexual assault and extor- tion. He was held in custo- dy pending a bail hearing in Milton. TEENS CHARGED WITH GANG SEXUAL ASSAULT, CHILD PORNOGRAPHY Two Oakville teens are facing criminal charges in- cluding gang sexual as- sault after an incident at an Oakville home. Police say the teens were arrested Nov. 11 in connection with a sexual assault that occurred at a residence in Oakville in September 2021. During the sexual assault, police allege intimate images of the victim were captured and shared through social media. The 19-year-olds are charged with sexual as- sault and gang sexual as- sault. One of them is also charged with making child pornography and posses- sion of child pornography. "Investigation has de- termined that there are ad- ditional victims," police said in a news release. TEEN CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON A 19-year-old man has been charged after an al- leged sexual assault in Oakville. On Oct. 25, Halton po- lice charged an Oakville man with sexual assault with a weapon and utter threat to cause death or bodily harm. Police say they executed a search warrant in an Oakville home and seized two air- soft guns. The man was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton. A sexual assault can range from un- wanted touching to sexual assault involving penetra- tion. There is no statute of limitation when it comes to reporting a sexual assault.
