Scugog Youth Soccer League results UNDER 6 RESULTS: Port Perry Printing and tie. Inthe second half Brent Henry whipped two: well placed kicks past the posts to lead the Framer's to a 2-0 victory. Laurentian Bank had' busy week with two games. Their first against Haugen's Chicks ended in a tie. Jared Olsen came up with an outstdnding game, as did Kyle Pasdmore. Kristopher Barchuk broke up plays well on defense. Kalea Renaud showed the boys the speed they will need to gatch her. The Chicks also sho a great team effort. Kim and defense. Steve Groves scored one for Tim's. Cotrell's Cuspids shut out Raglan Industries with a 8-0 win. Goals were by Trevor Chandler, Kyle Geer and Danny Halward. Peter Dutka put in a valiant defensive effort for Raglan, and ended up with a broken arm for his troubles! Antrim House and Burketon played to a 2-2 draw. Goals for the pub were by Aaron Bray and Jeffrey Tomcheski. Burketon's points were from Matthew Morison and Alex Henderson. UNDER 11 RESULTS: Green Apple Cabinets won their game against Willowtree Farms due to forfeit. In a show Shayne were a defensively. Benjamin was a great offensive force, and Scott and Joshua each scored a goal. The bankers didn't fare as well against J & D Carpentry. A shut out for J & D was accomplished," thanks to splendid goaltending by Clare Neary and Mark Vallenburg. Dustin Curran scored twite and Devin Colson once, to clinch the win. The Royal Canadian Legion trounced Second Hand for Kids, but Nicholas Weisflock managed one goal and the Kids saw an excellent effort from their new player, Brandon MacPherson. UNDER 7 RESULTS: Brian's Towing came on strong against Port Perry Lions Club to secure a 4-0 win. Russell Tracey notched two, Kirk Stevens and Troy Wagg scored one each. Ashley Radcliffe played an outstanding game, running hard both ways and making several checks. Keith Steele was effective on defense, stealing the ball before the Lions had a chance to shoot. Honourable mention goes to Brad Neary, Katie Munden and Michael Brooks for the Lions. Komputer Klinic and Lake Scligog Lumber played to an exciting 5-5 draw. Matthew Miller scored a hat trick for the Klinic, while Alexander Moffat and Kyle Jones each added one. Caylie Gilmore got the lumberkids hat trick, and Kyle Paige kicked in two. UNDER 9 RESULTS: « Manvers played another strong game against Willowtrge Farms, to take the win by a 4-2 margin. Brandon Spearing scored twice. Gary Cafik and Zach Plowright picked up a point each. Darren Tapper and Daniel Bois came through for Willowtree to keep the game close. Reach Park Motors shut out Joe's Pizza, with goals by Matthew Charron gnd Eri Geary. Celine Batte ink-and Brent Wagg shared*the shut out, with he] outstanding defense by' Charron. Joe's put-ifi'a great fort, hustling all the way. Nelson Langmaid, Adam Bull and Michael Younghusband worked hard on defense. Leo Taillon made many great saves in net. Air Durham had a big 5-1 win over Tim's Renovations thanks to goals by Derek Goreski (2), Scott Lennox (2), and Tyler Cunningham. Kenny Britt and Tyler Cunningham provided solid net-minding, and Joey Stephenson was good on of good spor hip they lent Greg Jeffrey, Michael Sytsma and Daniel Foster to Willowtree for a fun match. An llent Waterfront Cafe trounced LG.A, with a 9-1 win. Good time 'was had by all with goals scored by each team. Haugen's Heroes just edged out Burl g and def were the key to the win. The Halward Sos, Danny and David made each, followed by for a 6-5 win, in a gruelling end to end game. Goals for Haugen's were by Derek Fishley (2), Matthew Kamminga (2), Trevor Weisflock (1), and Wolf Palleske (1). Burketon played with only seven players, and their goals were by Greg VanLeyden (2), Phillip Cudahy (2), and one for Jason Morrison. Laura Batterink . was terrific on defense for Haugen's. Philip Cudahy played an outstanding game, as did Chas Morrison in net, for Burketon. Shy Churchill with two and Peter Konstantinopolous with a single. Katrina Leahy, Amy Valkenburg and Tim Donohue provided great defense. Virtually flawless goal keeping was handled by Robert Potier and Gabriel Benschop. 1.G.A.'s lone marker came from Chris Wygerde. : Chris Gloster led Darlene Colton Photography to a 6-2 win over, the Legal Eagles, with four 'goals to his credit. Alex McKay and Kevin Gloster added one each. Erin Slack and Rebecca Aked put in fine defensive efforts, to hold the Eagles to only two goals, by Wes Langmaid and Evan Ashton. UNDER LS RESULTS: y Port Perry's teams, 1.G.A. and VanCamp met up and played to a 1-1 tie. Dean VanCamp scored first from an excellent pass by Matt Tillart. Bill Carr from Gerard Timmers came back for L.G.A., with a perfect high kick to the corner of the net, after a series of passes that tied up the VanCamp defense.
