In the last minute of play Port 'kept Stouffville in their own zone and; with 19 seconds : remaining Jon, with his physical play in the corner, outmuscled the Stouffville player, came up with the puck and found Seth all alone in the slot. Seth made no mistake as he one-timed the pass into the net for a final 5-3 win. The team played a strong third period. Dann Lee and shane '- made some tough saves and ' stopped 27 of 30 shots. The Penalty killers. stopped Stouffville on six of eight powerplays, once two men short for two minutes. (Port had no powerplay chances).
