Cawker Junior Eagles are In the All Durham Final Four basketball tournament this week, and what a way to finish off a great season on the courfs for this team. See story right. Cawker Eagles in the Final Four The S.A. Cawker Junior Eagles are bound for the all- Durham Final Four basketball championships this week. The Eagles won a berth in this top level tournament by winning the Central Region pennant two weeks ago with a convincing 652-34 victory over Thorah PS. And last week, the team kept on winning with a couple of real cliff hangers, 24- 23 over Dr. Phillips, and then over the Durham defending champs from Applecroft School, a 41-39 thriller. ~ The Final Four tournament is slatéd to go this Thursday at Anderson Collegiate in. Forwards Mark Heffern and Chris Parsons , have consistently come up with big rebounds at both ends of the court and have contributed with timely baskets all season long. In addition, Jeff Ashton has supplied superb playmaking and has been an emotional spark plug for the team. Cawker has relied on a fast- paced passing game and Coach Rob Murray feels this is the most unselfish team he has ever worked with.
