Remembrance Day in Brooklin This year, when you see a local Legion representative promoting the Annual Poppy Campaign, please give generously. The Brooklin Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion is a local long standing organization. Funds raised through Legion initiatives have historically gone to a variety of charities. From children's sports and school programs to senior's medical services, the Legion has been behind countless donations for the betterment of our community. This Year Brooklin Legion Branch 152 will host their private ceremony at 11:00 a.m. at the Cenotaph in front of the Library. The Legion is not encouraging gatherings on this day. The poppy campaign continues. Please show your support by wearing your poppy and thanking a veteran. AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN AND IN THE MORNING, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM. WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
