Tokyo Smoke, located at 75 Pinebush Rd. in Cambridge, was to open at 9 a.m. It was one of three cannabis retail stores proposed for Wa- terloo Region. The government had first limited the number of stores allowed to open in Ontario at 25. The loca- tions were selected through a lottery system. In July, the province announced another 50 stores would be permit- ted through a second lot- tery. Other pot shops are in the works for Waterloo region as well, including one on King Street South in Waterloo, and one on Fairway Road in Kitche- ner.
