Parrott deserves a great deal of credit for the way he has pushed along the work. He has displayed a lot of patience as well as using a lot of energy. The grounds will be a credit to him. A' number of gentlemen from Myrtle were over on Saturday night for a friendly game, but it is hard to down Dan and Fred. It is expected that the tennis court will be in full swing this week. Mesdames Robertson, Hope and But- son, will help provide refreshments. The girls of the school with a number of guests enjoyed a pinic at Lakeside Beach, on Tuesday afternoon, July 8, under the supervision of Miss Mal- colm. A most enjoyable time was spent in bathing, playing ball and _ running, after which lunch was served.
