One evening last week Mr. and Mrs. John Collins were taken completely by surprise, when about thirty couples from Oshawa and elsewhere, motored in to spend the evening and enjoy an oyster supper and to celebrate the thirty-ninth anniversary of the Mr. and Mrs. Collins' wedding. Everyone spent a very enjoyable time. The Beamer family of Oshawa, gave some very excellent selections on the violin and guitar. After singing many old favorite songs they concluded the evening with singing "For they are Jolly good Fellows."
