Hoard, of Cartwright, is enjoying a visit from his son, Herbert who has lately come from England. Mr, Howard had not seen his son for sixteen years. Mr. Herbert Howard will be remaining in Cartwright. Miss Leola Beare, of McKeesport, Penn., and Mr. Stanley Stephens, of Windsor, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Beare. They enjoyed a good day's fishing at Beare's Pond,and caught a six pound bass. Mr. W. H. Small of Montreal is spend- ing his holidays at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Jeffery. Miss H. B. Hastings, R. N. of Steven's Point; Wis. was the guest of Dr. and Mrs. Lundy last week. Rev. Wm. Higgs and Mrs. Higgs, of Beechville, are spending some weeks 'at their summer home here. Mr. C. C.
