HAROLD LARMER It is with profound regret that we record the death of Mrs. H. Larmer, of Blackstock, daughter of Mr. Frank Woodley, of Port Perry. The news of her death came as a great shock to her many friends as she was ap- parently in her usual health until a few days before her death. Mrs. Larmer who before her mar- riage, was Lucy B. Woodley, about two years ago went as a bride to her home near Blackstock, where she made many friends. Lucy had many friends in Port Perry, who deeply mourn her loss. Of a kind faithful energetic disposition, she was never happier than when doing something to help others and although it would ap- pear that she did not live out half her days, there is no doubt she oc- complished as much in her thirty-three years as many do in twice that num- ber of years: She was'a member of the United Church. The very large funeral and many floral tributes showed the esteem in which she was held. She leaves to mourn her loss, her father, Mr. F. It is hard to realize that Lucy has left us and that no more in this life will we see her smiling face, but we can only say with the poet. We cannot say, and we will not say, That she is dead. She is just away. With a cheery smile and a wave of the hand, She has wandered into an unknown land, And left us dreaming how very fair; It needs must be, since she lingers there, And you--oh you, who the wildest yearn, For the oldtime step and the glad re- turn, Think of her faring on, as dear In the lové of There, as the love of Here, GOVERNOR'S NEW AIDE DE CAMP Captain R.
