BENTLEY Optometrist risa pines THE SCHOOL OPENING Jeweller and Stationer } PORT PERRY The finishing touches are being put on the new school, and everybody up there is busy in the effort to have the building ready for the opéning on Wednesday, May 18th, at 8 p.m. Hon. John 8. Martin, Minister of Agriculture, has been invited to per- form the opening ceremony and has accepted the invitation. It is expected that a number of County and Township officials, mem- bers of Parliament, and others who are interested in education will be present. The Public and High School schol- ars will march in procession to the school headed by the Port Perry Band. After the ceremony at the door a public meeting will be held in the Assembly Hall, the Minister of Agri- culture being the principal speaker. There will also be a programme of choruses, drills and musical numbers, The public is invited to be present and inspect the school upon that oc- casion.
