He had a quiet, friendly disposition always ready to lend a helping hand to one in need, and was well liked and highly respected by all who knew him, He has been gradually failing in health for about a year but was only confined to his bed for several weeks in his last illness, The funeral, from the family resi- dence on Monday, August, 9th, was largely attended. The service was conducted by the Rev, M. Sanderson, Bircheliff, assisted by Rev. E. M. Cook, of Enniskillen, Interment was made in the family plot at- Prince Albert, He leaves to mourn the loss of a good father, a son and five daughters, jor Beonamical James H., at home, Mrs, Thos, Brown of Bowmanville; Mrs. Arthur Hub- bard, Enfield; Mrs. Geo. Cossentine, Los. Angeles; Mrs. Russell Clark, Oshawa; Mrs. Oliver Hubbard, Rag- lan; all of whom were home during his illness and death, His youngest son Russell predeceased him last September 26th, 1925, He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and 'seyen great grand- childrer The floral tributes were beautiful. The pallbearers were Geo. Cossen- tine, A. Hubbard, Oliver Hubbard, T. Brown, Russell Clarke and Mr. Flett.
