HEALTH CLASS IN PORT PERRY The Red Cross is engaged in a crusade for better health, and the prevention and mitigation of suffer, ing in the homes, To this end, they are forming classes in Home Nursing throughout the country. One such class 4s being organized here'under the auspices of the LO.D.E. The purpose of the class will be to give instruction to women and girls fifteen years or over, regarding the care of the sick and methods of keeping well, and preventing disease. The course will be under the super- vision of trained nurses, and several local doctors will deliver lectures from time to time. There are twelve lessons in the course treating of such subjects as "Carg of the patient", "Emergencies and slight ailments", "Health in the Home" and other allied topics. The class in Port Perry will be organized next week, and the fee for the twelve lessons will be one dollar. The class will meet once a week.
