Mr and Mrs John Nasmith and family are spending a couple of weeks in Muskoka. Dr. Murray's office will be closed until the first week in September, We are sorry to report that Mr. Roy Henders is quite ill. Dr. Scott of Bridgeport N.Y., and Mr. John Davis, Toronto, were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. J' Davis. Struck by Lightning Mrs. Geo. Schell is suffering from the effects of a shock re- ceived from lightning, which struck her house during the recent storm. Mrs, Schell was trying to diyert the water from the eaves-trough to the ground, when the lightning struck her, knocking her unconscious and partially paralysing her limbs. She is recovering somewhat. \ Died At Port Perry, on Thursday, July 7, 1921, John Hews McKee, aged 59 years. Prospect' In spite of the unfavorable weather last Friday evening there was a large crowd attend- ed the Garden Party and all had an enjoyable time. . Miss H. Smith has left for her home in Galt, Miss Mary Wales spent the week end at home. The young people of Prospect are invited to the picnic held by the young people of Manchester - on Thursday of this week. Miss Mildred Somerville holidaying at her home.
