Rush Seats Last year at the Choral Union con- certs there was apparently a misun- derstanding regarding rush seats. The impression was abroad that because the reserved seats were all sold, there was no room left in the hall. This is not correct. At the performances of the "Mikado," to be given in the Town hall on Thursday and Friday evenings of this week, there are about one hundred rush seats, at. 25¢ each. Tne doors will be open to the publie at 7.30 p.m. each evening. The early person will have the choice of the "seats. Be on hand early. Town Council The regular monthly meeting of the Town Council was held in the office rooms of Mr W H Harris, the follow- ing members being present: : Reeve Geo Gerow, Councillors F. ~ W. Mrs. Kellett"s maiden name was Sophia Shaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Shaw, who at that time lived on the farm near Bethel, now occupied by Mr. John Watson. After her marriage with Mr. C..C. Kellett {her home was made in Part Perry At first their home was on Bigelow St., where Mr. W. H. Rundle now lives. Later they moved to Mr. Kellett's present home to the Fair Grounds, : ' Mrs, Kellett is sutvived by her husband, Mr. C. C. Mrs. George Walling Mrs. George Walling, whose maid- en name was Miss Mary Mark; died at Port Perry, on Sunday, Feb 1916, in her 76th year. Mrs, Walling ' was born in England and came to Canada when a child. The family settled in Reach on a farm near Betnel. After her marriage to Mr. George Walling, her home was made in Port Perry, where she spent the remainder of her life. Five children were born to them--Mrs. McFarlane, Montreal; next ling, Montreal; Alfred Walling, Port Perry; Mrs. Jennie Rose, Détroit. Mr. Walling predeceased his wife some six years ago. - Mrs. Walling was a good mother, and the best friend of her children, Many friends, especially Rev. John Ford, and Rev. W. P. Rogers, showed great kindness to Mrs. Walling during ner illness. Mr. Lewis Walling wishes to express his sincere thanks for the. kindness shown.
