I told bim there was $107 in my pocket book. I told him that he had to hunt it up or I would have him arrested. He said be would try and find out, and were mostly $5's, and there was one ten dollar bill. The $10 bill was in the $67 brought back, the balance was in fives. He came in and said, laying it on the desk, here is $67. Young White was the next man that came in. He was sent for by Schell and he gave me $25. My brother was there when White came in. Campbell gave me the other five. He just came in with it in his hand. I don't think my brother was there then. At that time Brooks, White, Schell and Campbell were there. Cannot say what time my brother left. The whole amount I got was $97. The bunch were all present at the time that Campbell said they were jollying me--the others said nothing. I told them I was satisfied with getting what I had. 1 had nothing to do with lay- ing this information. I have known Brooks fron' a boy, and White not so well. 1 am acquainted with Brooks better than Schell.
