We have crossed many milestones. In May, we collected the highest monthly amount of green bin material EVER in the history of our program. By July, more green bin material had been collected in these first five months than all of the last year. Sorting recyclables from garbage really does make a difference. Whether it is the blue box or the green bin, without you, it would just be garbage. After taking a 39-26 lead into the fourth quarter, the Warriors football team let the Gry- phons back in, winning the game 53-49. The final nail in the coffin was a 22-yard run from Guelph running back Johnny Augustine with 22 seconds left in the final quarter. Waterloo quarterback tandem Tre Ford and Lucas McConnel combined to go 17-for-23 through the air for a total of 354 yards passing. Meanwhile, Guelph quarterback Theo Land- ers went 16-for-26 for a total of 205 yards. With the loss, Waterloo's record drops to 4-2, with some tough competition on the way.
