With Ontario reporting 1,371 new cases today, the provincial government has announced four public health units will be moving to more restrictive levels in the province’s colour-coded COVID-19 response framework.

The seven-day average of daily cases has increased by 17 to 1,269. In the greater Kawarthas region, there are 19 new cases to report and an additional 12 cases resolved, with the number of active cases across the region increasing by 10 to 126.
