Kuz, Annie Julia (Died)

Annie Julia Kuz, of Grimsby, victim of leukemia, died Friday at the Hamilton General Hospital, in her 21st year. The dread disease had developed rapidly and she had been in hospital only two weeks.

She was born in Saskatchewan on January 1, 1933, and came to Grimsby with her parents 11 years ago. She had attended Grimsby High School, and for the last 3 years had been employed in office work. She was a member of St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, and, prior to the opening of this church, had attended Trinity United Church.

Surviving, besides her parents, Peter and Katharine Kuz, are two sisters, Mrs. J.A. Forester and Effie.

The body rested at the Stonehouse Funeral Home, Grimsby, until Monday morning when funeral service was held in St. George's Church. Burial was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
