Mrs. H.L. Roberts, of Grimsby, died Tuesday morning at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Gilbert Wade, after a long illness.

Born in Hamilton 80 years ago, she lived in Grimsby for the last 50 years. She was a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Roberts was very active in Red Cross work and was a member of many women's organizations of this district.

Her husband was the late Colonel Roberts, commander of The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. He predeceased her in 1937.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. G. Wade, of Grimsby, with whom she resided.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2:30 in St. John's Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
