Description
It turns out [November 23]’s record increase of 1,589 new COVID-19 cases [in Ontario] wasn’t a record increase after all. Due to a technical error, some of the cases that should have been reported today [November 24) were reported yesterday [November 23] instead. As a result, today’s report of 1,009 new COVID-19 cases is lower than it should be, and yesterday’s number was higher than it should have been. The average case count over the past two days [November 23 and 24] is 1,299, and the average number of daily cases over the past seven days has decreased to 1,395.
