- Description
- The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) updated its guidance on how COVID-19 can be transmitted through the air and that Canadians should wear a three-layer mask, ideally a filter between two layers of cotton.
Experts and critics said that the agency owed the public an explanation as to why it took until November 6, 2020 to announce the airborne transmission to the public - months after national agencies elsewhere and the WHO - and to update mask recommendations with conflicting information (update to a 3 three layer mask, but hang on to your two layer mask). - Notes
