SBA Canada is proposing an antenna system on the lands located on the northwest corner of First Line and Lower Base Line, Town of Milton (legally recognized as Part of Lot 2, Concession 1, Town of Milton). The proposed antenna system consists of a 60.0 metre-tall-self-support telecommunications tower with a lightning road at the top with a compound to house the tower and the necessary equipment to be secured by chain link fencing. Access to the proposed tower will be provided through a new 6.0-metre-wide utility easement extending from First Line to the tower compound. The tower compound will be setback approximately 83.0 metres from the rear property line and approximately 6.0 metres from the southern property line Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada is responsible for the approval of this antenna system, and requires SBA Canada to review this proposal with the public and local municipality. After reviewing this proposal with the Town of Milton, we will provide its position to ISED Canada and SBA Canada.
