B NEWS DISTRACTED DRIVING CAMPAIGN RESULTS IN NEARLY 200 TICKETS Halton police issued nearly 200 tickets during a recent campaign aimed at distracted drivers. Project "It Can Wait Halton" ran from Monday, Oct. 28 to Friday, Nov. 8 and featured a combination of distracted driving law edu- cation and enforcement. During this campaign officers handed out 199 tickets and gave nine warn- ings. "#It Can Wait Halton was a public enforcement campaign aimed to posi- tively influence driver be- havior and reduce the use of hand-held devices while driving," said Halton po- lice Deputy Chief Jeff Hill.
