Officers said it is un- clear exactly when the break-ins took place. The Town of Milton has retained Wood Environmental & Infrastructure Solutions to undertake the design of this project. The study is being carried out under Schedule A+ in accordance with the requirements outlined'in the Municipal Engineers Association (MEA) Municipal Class EA document (October 2000, as amended in 2007, 2011 & 2015), which is an approved process under the Ontario Envirgnmental Assessment Act. i The Town will be completing road improvements in two separate phases that will occur between 2019 and 2023. Road improvements are to include removal and replacement of existing pavement, road geometrics, curve widening and installation of a retaining wall, installation of storm sewers and new slope and drainage protection measures. Phase one of road improvements (2019) will include curve widening and construction of a retaining wall along the main curve in the roadway and placement six storage lockers at the of additional signage alongrthe entire length of the road corridor limits. Phase two (2023) will involve reconstruction 'within the road corridor limits (including removal and replacement of top afphalt), _storm sewers and slope and drainage protection. No significant widening beyond the existing two lanes is planned. Public Information:Centre The Engineering Services Department is advising residents, property owners who reside on or own property adjacent to this project, and stakeholders that a Public Information Centre (PIC) is being held regarding the preliminary design for road improvements on Appleby Line. The PIC is scheduled to take place on: Date: Wednesday, November 2], 2018 Time: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Location: Hugh Foster Hall : 141 King Street Milton, ON L9T 625 The purpose of the PIC is to provide area residents, property owners and the publie the opportunity to review the preliminary design plans, discuss individual issues and provide comments prior to finalizing the design.
