Then, with eight minutes remaining, Jaylen Sinclair scored what proved to be the winner. The victory proved to be a costly one, though, as Milton lost its captain, Cristian Alfieri, to a broken ankle. Undeterred, the Magic blanked Waterloo United 2-0 in the semifinals, to earn a spot in the finals. . "They have resiliency, and I think that comes with the competition we faced," Griffin said. "We've - been down multiple goals, and they found a way to dig deep and make it-happen." One of those comebacks was against Dixie, the Mag- ic's opponent in the final.
