Beloved wife of the late Don Hudson (d. 1963), Joan Elizabeth Hudson is survived by her devoted and loving daughter, Heather Macintosh (Peter Bromley) of Milton, enjoyed the deep admiration of her grandchildren, Matt (Jenn) and Mike (Jen) Macintosh, and treasured her great- grandchildren, Anglin and Juna (all residing in BC). Matt, Jenn, Anglin, Juna and their dog were vacationing in Milton and were near Joan at the time of her passing, refletting her impeccable sense of timing. Joan is lovingly remembered by her nieces Marilyn (Pat), Gurnee (Simon), Cathie (Bill) and Pippa (Jeff) and nephews Shane (Melanie), James and Peter (Kendra). She is predeceased by her brother, Geoff Hobbes and sisters- in-law Babs and Mitzi. Joan's passions were her family, her roots in Ireland, her family cottage on Lake Couchiching and her church. She was a committed volunteer and skilled knitter, seamstress and hostess. A model of dignity, warmth and refinement. Joan's loss of vision over the past four years did nothing to change her sunny disposition, smile, or sense of style - the best dressed 96 year old around! Her selflessness and kindness touched all those who knew her. A Celebration of Joan's Life will be held at a later date at St. John's York Mills Church in Toronto. Donations to the Milton Hospital Auxiliary or The Seeing Eye (dog guides) would be appreciated. Letters of Condolences, shared stories and memorial donations may be left for the family online at www.mckersie-kocher.ca: = pl sn HYATT, Therese On Wednesday, August 8, 2018 pescelully at Allendale, with family y her side, Therese was reunited to the loving arms of her late husband | Doug. VIVIAN, Patricia "Pat" Ann Jess 1934 - 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved mother on August 6, 2018 at Allendale Long Term Care, Milton, Ontario at 83 years of age. Our Mom was born October 10, 1934 in Conventry, England, the youngest of four children to Charles and Jess Barlow. Mom and Dad (Gordon, predeceased) immigrated to Canada in 1955 and lived the majority of their life in Peterborough, Ont. where Mom focused her attention on raising us; Mark (Mary Claire), Jane, Kim (John) and Saea. Her love of art, literature, travel, gardening and the value of family and friends enriched our lives. Thank you for creating the framework that makes us who we are today. She will be missed by all. who knew and loved her. We would like to thank the staff at Allendale for all the compassion that they showed our mother during initial visits to the day program at Milton Place/Friends Landing and finally during her residence, CCAC staff and Dr. Mathews.
