The concept for the .vid- eo was inspired by local sto-, ries and community feed- back gathered during Mil- ton's recent corporate re- brand. The video has been created to present a snap- shot of Milton and aims to inspire the community to share their own stories about incredible local tal- ent, thought leadership and . innovative businesses growing in Milton. "We know that young, educated professionals are attracted to our community because they see Miltonasa place of possibility," said Andrew Siltala, the Town of Milton's director of strate- gic initiatives and economic development. "This cam- paign is the beginning of a year-long effort to discover and help share the real sto- ries of innovation happen- ing across our community." Throughout the sum- mer, Milton is encouraging businesses and community members to share their per- sonal success stories for the opportunity to be featured in future economic develop- ment marketing ~ cam- paigns. "The town will be looking for stories that exemplify the highly-skilled local tal- ent that lives and works in Milton, as well as profes- sional stories that demon- strate innovative leader- ship and entrepreneurial spirit. The Milton economic development team will col- lectand feature local stories from businesses of all sizes growing in Milton. The community is en- couraged to submit descrip- tions of innovative projects, partnerships, technologies and solutions being created locally. Stories that emphasize the diversity of talent and opportunity that exists in Milton can be submitted on- line until Aug. 31, 2018.
