He is survived by his loving wife Lynne, as well as his children Anne Monaghan (Gary), Susan Cole (Terry), David Arbic (Mary), and two stepchildren, Kimberly Schomberg, and David Brown (Danielle). He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. Born in Bracebridge Larry spent his early life in Acton, Ontario where he was known as Lorne by family and friends. He is survived by brothers Raymond (Rena), Dan (Wendy), sisters Elaine Malcolm and Theresa Duncan, and sisters-in-law Betty May Arbic and Jane Arbic-Moore. He is predeceased by his brothers Russell and Wayne. Dear brother-in-law to Ken and Donna Ketchen, and Michael and Lorna Merritt. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. For many years Larry was Director of Leisure Services for the Town of Milton until his retirement in 1991. Larry and Lynne spent nine years in the Bary Sound area, then moved to Briar Hill, Alliston where they have resided for 17 years.
