COMMUNITY Maple Syrup season kicks off with Sugarmaker's Breakfast at Mountsberg Conservation-Halton in- vites you to celebrate the start of Maple Syrup sea- son with its Sugarmaker's Breakfast. That runs from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 and Sunday, Feb. 25 at Mountsb- erg Conservation Area, with a wagon ride out to the bush and a hearty pancake breakfast by the wood stove kicking off a full day of Ma- ple Town activities. Visitors can participate in the old-time tradition of maple tapping (weather Torstar file photo permitting) and learn about the rich' history of . maple sugaring and how to identify different varieties of maples.
