With your continued support and participation-in our Blue Box and Green Cart programs, Halton has diverted nearly 60 per cent of waste from landfill. This has helped extend the lifespan of the landfill from 2012 to 2044--30 years longer than expected--and saved taxpayers more than $15 million. ad The calendar includes: weekly collection dates from February 2018 to January 2019 and accepted waste materials; tips and resources to help reduce waste at home and in the community; services offered at the Halton Waste Management Site; information on Regional programs and services available to residents and businesses; and information on the priorities of Regional Council and the Halton Region Strategic Action Plan 2015-2018.
