One girl, who was at the bathing house yesterday, liked the water so well that she was in for over half an hour, Of course it is rather chilly when you first step in, but it's just like the old swimmin' hole after you got your "duck." The caretaker expects to have the raft afloat by the end of the week. The building will be open evenings, starting Thursday, thus giving the people a chance to go in swimming who are unable to do so In the morning or afternoon. St. Andrew's Sunday School ple- nic held at Brophy's Point on Tusés- day afternoon, was perhaps the most successful picnic that this Sunday school has ever had. 'The weather was ideal and there were over three hundred in attendance. 'The party left Kingston about noon om the Steamer Wauble, and after arriving at the picnic grounds the children found plenty to amuse them. The men played a game against the boys and while youth won the contest, old-age was able to demon- strate some of the fihe points of the game, The ladies served their usual bountiful supper at the conclusion of the sports.
