Jolliffe, president of the [society, was in the chair. The treasurer of the mite boxes announced that the sum of $158.35 {had been secured in the boxes. During the meeting, Miss Luke, of the Canadian Institute for the Blind, gave a very interesting and in- structive address on the work which is being carried on among the blind {in the dominion. Miss Luke, who {is blind, is the representative of the institute for Kingston and Frontenac county and goes amopg the people who are blind trying to enable them to make themselves self-supporting.
