Frightened by thé sudden rush and barking of 'a dog, a driving horse owned by Dr. Woods, Westmeath, stumbled and fractured its left front leg just below the fetlock. The horse was one'of a team being driven by Fred Oiseau and was just enter- ing the village on a return journey from Pembroke at the time of the accident. Dr. Belaire, Pembroke, was called and set the fracture. The horse, valued at about $200, will, it Is expected, be all right again in about six weeks.
