B. germ, past the big central building and the recreation hall to the new nurses home, guided by the strains of sweet music found upon en tering to be Salsbury's orchestra. At the end of the corrider in the general room were Dr and Mrs. Bruce Hopkins and Sister Birtles, the matron, with a kindly word of greet- ing Here, too, were the members of the staff, nurses in flowing veils, ward aides in smart green uniforms, and the doctors and the members of the staff all intent on making every one happy, and seeing that they had tea and ices, which were brought in from two rooms on the same floor where at dainty tea tables, with gold ! and white flowers, were Mrs. Mckay | Miss | and Mrs. Vérnon Crothers, Coombs and Miss Stirling.
