Madge (Evans was supremely charming in her new drama, "Want- ed--A Mother," which was presented at the Grand last night. It is an ab- sorbing story and a facinating role, and Madge does full justice to it. Playing with Madge in this produc- tion is George MacQuarrie, who is becoming very. popular with 'the movie ians through having appearéd in a large numbér of World pictures. An O. Henry story, a Lonesome Luke comedy and the Pathe News were also shown along with an act of the best kind of vaudeville. This bill will be repeated to-night for the last time. For Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday there will be a special attraction. ~ Nell Shipman will be seen jn her latest starring vehicle, "Cavanaugh of the Forest Rangers," which is a picturization from a fam- ous novel by Hamlin Garland that hag enjoyed a wide circulation. Sup- porting Miss Shipman is Alfred Whit- man aad both their roles seem truly tailored to their capabilities. There will also be the Pathe News, a Judge Brown story and comedy reels.
