ERY HELD ANNUAL MEETING. ------ - G- A. Putnam Was Present and Gave Patrops a Timely Address--In the Future Omly the Cream will he Brought in From the Country. With a good attendance of members the annual meeting of the patrons of the Dairy School creamery was held in the school, on Thursday morsing. The annual report was presented and it was regarded as one of the best ever received, The: report was sabmitted by the auditors, Messrs. B. M. Vapluven and M. Fowler, and showed a net return to the farmer of $1.03 per hundred pounds, this in addition, of course, to the skimmed milk. This was a very good showing, in fact better than the cheese factories did last summer, After some discussion, it was deeid- ed to make a change from a pure milk ereamery, a place it on a cream gathering basis. This will mean that the cream separators will be used. The product will be separated on the farm, and only the cream brought to the school. : The patrons decided, by a unani- mous vote, to make the change. The, members expressed great pleasure at the way matters were carried on ai the creamery, during the season and were satisfied that everything was be- ing well conducted. . The patrons had a discussion in re- gard to the best way of handling cream, and mubh valuable information was received by the members as a re- sult. : (i. A. Putndm, superintendent of Farmers' Institutes, was present at the meeting, and addressed the pa- trons on important matters in their business. His address was a most helpful one, and was much appreciated hy the members, Mr Putnam also addressed the class of dairy instruc tors, at present at the school. MISSION AT ST.
