Dunn & Baraett, of Mission street and Fair Oaks avenue, South { Pasadena, are the manufacturers of the stoves and furnaces. The stoves are made in four sizes apd the fur- paces in three models. The feature of the heater which finds instant favor among those who have investigated, is the fact that it is im- possible to defect even the slightest odor of gas when the heater is work- ing of when the gas is turned on in ithe chambers without being lighted. The sanitary arrangement has been perfected to such au extent that it is |possible to leave the gas turned on 'and remain in the room without sul fering any ill effects. A cold mr box, in three gides of which are cold air inlets leads to' the combustion chamber. A partition se- | parates the same from the distribu tion chamber. An air chamber com: mupicates with the distributing chamber and forms a heat insulating space. 'The outside of the heater is lined with heat insulating material. A series of vertical air pipes in the combustion chamber extend from the cold air 10 the combustion chamber. The cold air as it passes up through the tubes becomes heats led before entering = the distributing camber. 4 The burners comprise horizontal pipes which have seventeen slots cut in them. The pipes extend through the front wall of the combustion chamber and connect with a heater [furnished with valves to conmeot the flow of gas to the burner. Below Jruch burner is an air valve which can be regulated. A strong point in favor of the new heater is the fact that it is cheap to. maintain; another is that the heat given off is 1iense and that it does not burn up the oxygen in a room. Getting Value Out of a Tire. Jt is mot the tire that will carry you furthest on & test run--it is the tire that will wear (he longest and give you the lowest average cost per mile while you are using your oar-- Dunlop automobile tires give a low average cost pet mile because the qua- lity of the tire is backed up by the Dunlop company's ready willingness to thoroughly satify every user of Dun lop automobile tires.
