Efforts Will be Made to Purchase - Road: Only one toll road now remains in Frontenac, and it is owned by the Kingston and Storrington company. Several months ago, the provincial in- spector of toll roads informed ~~ the company that it must make extensive to the road, or cease collect: ling toll. COLLIDED WITH ROW BOAT. An Accident Near Whiskey Island on Thursday. Frederick Sutherland, visiting at Thomas D. Minnes' camp, Dead Man's Bay, went fishing on Thurgday, at Whiskey Island, in Mr. Minngs' skiff. He was fishing contentedly in the nar: row channel, when, without warning, a gasoline, yacht crashed into his boat. Mr, Sutherland barely had time to jump for the rail of the tug, but got it by a lucky chance. The yacht was towing a houseboat and was upon Mr. Sutherland before they saw him. The skif was a total wreck.
