'MARRIED AND AWAY. A Kingston Girl Will Grace an Al- 2 berta Home. On Thursday a very quiet house wedding took place at 395 Beock street, the residence of "the bride's mother, when Rey. T. W. Neal united in marriage Miss Mary Ethel Drennan, youngest daughter of the late Rev. A. Drennan, and Mrs. Drennan, to Charles Maleolm Saunders, Olds, Alta. The house was prettily decorated with white carnations and marguerites, and in the drawing-room, where the sacred knot was tiedopalms and ferns were arranged artistically, with the Howers and virginia creeper, trailing round the walls, making a pretty background for the bride and groom, who stood in the window, The bride, who was given away by her \mother, was wiattended, and was prettily gowned in white of a soft diaphanons material, and very sweet dainty she looked carrying a bou- fquet of roses and lilies of the valley. The wedding ceremony being over, the bridal party repaired to the dining- room, where a recherche breakfast. was laid, the floral decorations being sweet peas, and the wedding cake adorning the centre of the table. Richardson, president of street railway company, has replied to the communication of the hoard of works, asking if the company would contribute any of the cost of the pav- ing of Princess and King streets along its tracks, Mr. Richardson's reply is that the company is not prepared to make any contribution, and his an- swer is practically the same as he gave Alds.
