Unusual Scene in Police Cells To- Day. A rather unusual scene was enacted in the police cells, this morning, at the close of the case of Charles Shaw, sentenced to one year in the Central prisen, for bigamy. As soon as the party was led into the long corridor, wile No. 1 and Ne. 2 burst into tears, and the latter cried out, "Oh, Charley, why did do such a thing." The other mem looked on rather sadly all the while, and the scene was a most pitiable one. The isonet's eyes were wet with tears, but he bad no explanation to make for his conduct, and the deputation withdrew in a few minutes. Both women shook hai with him. The prisoner had #8 in his posses- sion when brought to the police sta- tion and this was handed over to wife No. 1.
