The citizen went on to say that a great deal of crime could be traced to the reading of novels referred to. The tennis tournament is rapidly nearing its close and it is probable that Monday will witness the 'findl struggle for the championship, Those who have not yet tasted of tha dregs of defeat are Messrs. J. McDonald, W. F. Lockett, and F. Dyde. McDonald and Lockett will play to-day, and the winner will battle with Dyde for final supremacy. The suggestion that the winner of the tournament should be presented with a Q similar to that be- stowed upon members of champion- ship teams and upon those who break track records, appears to meet with general favor. The former custom of collecting a fee from those who witness the Sat- urday morning games on the campus has been adopted by the athletic com- mittee this session for the first time.
