Sheriff Milltimore, who brought a female prisoner to the penitentiary from Montreal, yesterday, left again at noon, to-day, for the Canadian metropolis. This was the sherifi's ini- tial visit to Kingston and he went away highly delighted with all he saw. The officials at the prison were most courteous and comsiderate, doing everything in their power for the sheriff. This morning he spent look- ing about the city and he was most impressed with the locality and beauty of the place. That there is an era of Prosperity in store fof the Limestone City, he has no doubt whatever, and as a place of residence it is unexooll- ed on the continent.
