Jonathan Young, Franchise Manager Call: 416-275-1984 | Email: jyoung@recipeunlimited.com For the seventh straightFor the seventh straightF year, Mye Japanese Restau- rant held its Feast for Good charity dinner. The family-operated res- taurant, owned by executive chef Mo Aoki, donated all proceeds raised at the Nov. 22 charity dinner to the Oak- ville Hospital Foundation; the funds will help purchase life-saving equipment, beds and units in support of Oak- ville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. This year Mye reached its goal of raising $13,200 in a single evening, pushing the overall funds raised to date to $203,200 for the OHF. The dinner included sushi, sashimi, a live oyster bar, Japanese-style skirt steak, Sapporo-battered cod and more. DJs and a jazz quartet alternated sets to get guests on the floor. The dinner was held at Mye's second location at 360 Dun- das St. E. in Oakville. The original restaurant, opened in 1987, is in downtown Oak- ville at 143 Church St. Representatives from the Oakville Hospital Foundation accept a cheque from the Mye Restaurant managers and staff. The money was raised from the restaurant's annual Feast For Good charity dinner in November. Mye Restaurant/photo MYE RESTAURANT'S ANNUAL FEAST FOR GOOD CHARITY DINNER RAISES $13,200 COMMUNITY
